handling unit

We are facing an issue where items reserved by a Work Order (WO) cannot be packed into a Handling Unit (HU). Our goal is to group these reserved items into a single HU so that we can move them as a whole to the work center.However, IFS does not allow packing as the items are already reserved for the WO. Canceling the reservation is not an acceptable option due to process constraints.Question:What is the recommended way to handle this scenario in IFS? Hello,Within the installation guide for PSO 6.15 using the “Deploying an Azure service using the IFS PSO Installer” method, is it possible to use an existing “Azure SQL managed instance” instead of an “Azure SQL Database”. Our company only supports the use of SQL managed instance.thanks

Connect Inventory to Shipment

I have some customer material that has physically been returned to the customer. The lot of material is still showing as on hand in our IFS inventory. I am trying to figure out a way to transact this lot out of inventory via a shipment or some other method. I want to create a record that it has left our company and returned back to the customer. Any ideas?

How can I setup prorated leaves in IFS?

There is a scenario where we need to setup prorated leave balance for PTO.Amount of days received is prorated based on when you start. January – March : receive 3 days PTOApril – June : receive 2 days PTOJuly – September : receive 1 day PTOOctober – December : receive 0 days PTO

Prorated Leave Balance Calculation

Hi,One of our customer(using IFS Apps-10), has changed their HR calendar from July-June to January-December. Now, from July’22- De’22 they will get the leave balance equal to that they would be getting for the full year, i.e. July’22- Jun’23. And from Next January’23 they will be having new leave balances. Can anyone suggest, how can this be handled easily and efficiently?Regards-Nahin

Wadacco proces for shop order material

Hello everyone, I have a question. It is the first time I am trying to set up a wadacco process - generally, I would like to set up a process in a way that it coppies the process in IFS Cloud: Inventory part in stock reservations Type - shop order material Mark the given shop order Pack the items on a handling unit Move the handling unit with Transport task into the shopfloor warehouse Start the transport task I have tried to use the default processes like: Manual Issue Shop Order Part Attach Part to Handling Unit Process HU on Transport Task But they do not follow .. and the material is issued already after the first step without the packaging or the transport task themselves - so I guess I am missing something. Lot / Batch numbers would be optional, not mandatory. Handling units to be picked out of the list of handling units (not default). Transport task would be started and also finished in the same step once loaded on the highlift. Does anyone has this set up already and i

Utilizing PLSQL_REST_SENDER_API to call a REST endpoint via a custom event

Hi Experts,I'm currently making a REST call to a third-party system using the IFS Custom Event action type "REST Call" to create a new customer. The payload is simple: { "CustomerId": "&NEW:CUSTOMER_ID", "Name": "&NEW:NAME" }This works fine for sending data. However, I need to capture the response from this call—specifically when the customer creation fails, it should log that error into a custom table/custom LU in IFS. Although I can view the response in the Application Messages, I think querying those messages and updating the custom Logical Unit (LU) might not be reliable when multiple requests are being processed concurrently.I'm considering using the PLSQL_REST_SENDER_API in the event action (with type ‘Execute Online SQL’) to make the call synchronously, so I can capture the response directly and log any errors immediately into the custom LU.Could anyone provide guidance or an example of how to use PLSQL_REST_SENDER_API for a synchronous REST call and handle the response?

Currency Workflow Scheduling Issue

Hello community,I have created a workflow from scratch for importing currency rates from different sources based on the company. This is the workflowWorkflow details I added projection actions to my workflow When i validate the workflow it works. When I manually use update currency rates button with start now, the rates are created. But scheduled DB task is not creating currency rates although the background job is triggered successfully.Any idea?ThanksFurkan
